OUTDOOR 50's MOVIES at the "Ace Drive-In Theatre" in the Hilton Lot - for Plan A old cars only. Every year we seek out some new old movies including several Japanese Sci-Fi classics... Some of these movies are great, and some are so bad they are downright tremendous! We try to find Hot Rod, Rock, J.D. (“Juvenile Delinquent”), and Sci-Fi from the 1950's and 60's, and pre-screen every movie to make sure there's nothing objectionable.

Old Car Registration for Plan A's from Friday morning on will be at the old (former) baseball field located at the entry into the Cendant Parking Lot off of Campus Drive (same place it has been for years). Plan A cars can register from 9:00 AM on.

EARLY 2011 REGISTRATION: People wishing to register for LEAD EAST 2011 can reserve their Hilton Hotel room number, and if renewing their existing parking space, can reserve their Plan A Parking Space for 2011 in the Hilton Ballroom.

Free Shuttle Bus Trips (for the gals) to Rockaway Mall. Loads at Hilton front door - leaves at 10 AM, 12 Noon, and 2 PM. Returns at 12:30 PM, 2:30 PM, and 4:30 PM. Pick up bus tickets at Hotel Front Desk.

Because this is a business complex operating during the week, please don't bring your B cars Friday morning and expect to get into the event or find a place to park before Registration opens to B cars. TWO HOUR MODEL CAR CONTEST! Two categories: 1) 17 and younger, and 2) 18 and older. Rules: We supply the models (all the same to make it fair). No parts can be pre-assembled or painted. You must use only the parts that come with the model. You can use any glue you want, but no hot glue guns. You may paint the model with brushes or spray cans. You must supply your own glue, tape, paints, etc. Be creative - have fun! Location: Hotel Morris Room #9.

A LEAD EAST tradition, killer Rockabilly band, the always wicked RAZORBACKS featuring KENNY DUDA, perform on the Outdoor Stage. Dancing is encouraged, in fact it's mandatory!

MAKE-A-WISH Foundation Charity Raffle. Free Children's Activities (face painting, etc.) in Main Hall near Hotel Ballroom, inside revolving door. The 2009 winner of the 50-50 took home over $10,000!!

12:30 PM  to 2:30 PM:
DOO WOP IDOL in Lobby Atrium. Any individual or group (amateurs only) can sign up, get up on stage and perform one song in “IDOL” competition. Judges will select one winner for a $300 cash prize! The winner also earns the right to perform one song on stage in that evening’s Oldies Concert in the Ballroom.

AWARDS PRESENTATIONS for TOP 9 CUSTOMS, plus 4 Special Awards presented to the BEST STREET ROD, BEST STOCK RESTORED, BEST MUSCLE CAR, and WORST RAT ROD at the Outdoor Stage. Plus, drawing of $100 cash prize to those who filled out survey form at the admission gate.

Prom Queens assemble for Parade near HAMPTON INN entrance..

PARADE OF THE PROM QUEENS: Gals dressed in formal gowns ride in open convertibles from front door of HAMPTON INN around the event to front door of HILTON, followed by PROM PROCESSION to Hotel Lobby through to the Lobby Atrium. (Parade is cancelled if it rains.)

7:00 PM to MIDNIGHT
25th Annual SENIOR PROM in Hotel Atrium with Master of Ceremonies/D.J. PAUL RODRIGUEZ. Crowning of Prom Queen 2010. Open at no extra cost to anyone properly attired: no jeans, t-shirts, shorts, or sneakers. Gals must wear dress or skirt; guys must wear jacket or suit - tie optional. Prom Tickets are FREE but due to limited space must be picked up in Morris Room #4 before the Prom, (limited in quantity). In celebration of its 25th Anniversary, the 2010 Prom will have a live band, YESTERDAZE.
